The Huracán Super Trofeo Evo 10th Edition

In 2018 the fastest one-make series in the world turns ten, and Lamborghini Squadra Corse is celebrating this significant anniversary of the Super Trofeo with a limited edition of the Huracán Super Trofeo Evo, symbolically produced in exactly ten units. The Huracán Super Trofeo Evo 10th Edition made its first appearance during a stunning parade at the most exciting Squadra Corse event of the summer, the iconic 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps endurance race (25 – 29 July 2018).

Many features highlight the exclusivity of this car, and what immediately stands out is that the already extreme aerodynamics of the Super Trofeo Evo are further enhanced by a livery with emphasized sculpted shapes. The glossy mantis green aerodynamic appendages and a tricolored band, which intersects on the roof, also embracing the air scoop and the rear fin, stand out against the dominant color of the body, the exclusive matte grey.

Thanks to the all-new ECU mapping, the aspirated 5.2-liter V10 engine reaches 630 HP, which is proof of the fact that this car is also technically extraordinary. The amazing power delivery is the new apex of a racing tradition that began in 2009 with the Gallardo LP560-4 Super Trofeo, the racing car derived from the road version that contributed to the worldwide accolades received by the House of the Raging Bull.

New features underline the exclusivity of the Huracán Super Trofeo Evo 10th Edition, like the “One of Ten” numbered plate, the certificate of origin signed by Stefano Domenicali (Automobili Lamborghini Chairman & CEO), Maurizio Reggiani (Automobili Lamborghini Chief Technical Officer) and Giorgio Sanna (Head of Lamborghini Motorsport), as well as a custom-tailored racing suit made by OMP.

Lamborghini’s significant achievement in customer racing is acknowledged by Maurizio Reggiani, who commented: “The Huracán Super Trofeo Evo 10th Edition is a tribute to our tradition, a new manifestation of the synergy between Squadra Corse and the R&D Department, two entities linked by a continuous process of osmosis: motorsport allows us to perfect the product, which in turn is the basis for the racing cars of the future.
