The new Lamborghini Museum: MUDETEC

The Lamborghini Museum has been renewed, becoming MUDETEC, the Museum of Technologies, where the fascinating history and the iconic cars tell the story of the innovations that for over fifty years have projected the Company into the future and revolutionized the entire automotive world.

The experience ‒ entirely interactive thanks to touchscreens and fully immersive with the new “brain room” ‒ takes visitors on a journey from past to present, enabling them to come into contact with the masterpieces that best represent the revolutions brought about thanks to the Company’s enormous and ongoing investment in research and development. From the iconic cars of the past, like the 350 GT, Miura, Countach and LM002, the itinerary arrives at the most recent and exclusive Lamborghinis, like the Asterion hybrid concept car, the Centenario limited series, and the Aventador SVJ Coupé, the record-holder at Nürburgring.

For its grand opening, the MUDETEC presents Future Shapers Since 63 (16 April – 31 October), an exhibition in which each car tells of the DNA, design and technology that, in their respective eras, revolutionized and dictated new rules in the automotive field. A journey through time divided into decades, from the Sixties to the Nineties, in which each period is represented by an iconic vehicle and special installations.

Visitors can follow the steps of the exhibition using their smartphones via the brand new museum app or configure their own Lamborghini with the Car Configurator. The MUDETEC visit is made even more complete by the virtual driving experience aboard the new simulator, and by the guided tours, by reservation, of the V10 and V12 production lines and Manifattura Lamborghini, the production plant for the Super SUV Urus.

The Museum has also strengthened its commitment to educational activities with two new educational workshops aimed at school groups: Vehicle Setup and Ergonomics, where students learn about dynamics, aerodynamics, and the development of the vehicle structure; and Carbon Fiber and its Technologies, where students learn about maximizing the weight/power ratio of the car along with the Advanced Composite Research Center (ACRC), Lamborghini’s in-house division for composite materials research.

The MUDETEC will also host temporary exhibitions, incentive visits for customers and associates, as well as private events after hours.
