Lamborghini Revuelto: The Challenge

Automobili Lamborghini releases the first of three short movies that offer a glimpse into the behind-the-scenes of creating Lamborghini Revuelto, the first super sports V12 hybrid plug-in HPEV.

In this first installment, Lamborghini Chief Technical Officer Rouven Mohr and Head of Design Mitja Borkert discuss the challenge of creating the revolutionary car.

“The main challenge has been to transfer the Lamborghini DNA to the electrified world,” said Mohr. “Revuelto is the first car where we completely changed the architecture and the first Lamborghini with an electric four-wheel driving.”

“Every surface that we design at Lamborghini has to be a high-performance surface,” said Borkert. “One of the boundaries was to keep the typical Lamborghini silhouette and the cabin's strong inclination.”
