WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca is 250 metres above sea level and it lies approximately 12 kilometres from Monterey (CA, United States). It is 3610 metres in length and it was built in 1957. The track has a distinctive layout that differs significantly from other circuits elsewhere in the world. The most famous section is unquestionably the Corkscrew: a fast turn with a hard left followed by a hard right and a drop of 18 metres, which has seen some legendary battles over the years.
