More than 400 guests participated in Lamborghini Day Germany at the futuristic Luftschiffhangar in Mülheim to celebrate the brand’s innovation and exclusivity. The day sparked the excitement of all participants with the long-awaited European debut of Lamborghini Temerario, the new 920 CV hybrid super sports car that symbolizes the Sant’Agata Bolognese carmaker’s transition to electrification in the wake of Direzione Cor Tauri’s strategy.
Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Lamborghini, revealed Temerario to the public, proclaiming it as pioneer of the brand’s new era. “It is a privilege to welcome everyone to the first Lamborghini Day Germany. The event is twice as significant since we are celebrating the European premiere of the Lamborghini Temerario, our first 920 CV twin-turbo V8 plug-in hybrid, which marks completion of our electrified range within the Direzione Cor Tauri strategy.” Equipped with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine and three electric motors, Temerario reaches 340 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds, with an outstanding cutback of CO2 emissions amounting to 50% less than those of Huracán.
Chief Technical Officer Rouven Mohr defined Temerario as “a step ahead along the journey to electrification,” while emphasizing that this model reaches 10,000 rpm, setting a new standard for hybrid super sports cars.
Lamborghini’s other hybrid range models also paraded at the event, such as Urus SE and Revuelto. Participants were led through the Lamborghini world with displays of Centro Stile, Ad Personam and Squadra Corse. Other iconic models were on hand, like the Countach QV and Miura S. Celebrations were also held for the Huracán GT3 EVO2’s victory in the DTM championship with the participation of Mirko Bortolotti, who brought an Italian brand to success for the first time in 31 years. The day’s schedule offered many experiences in collaboration with Lamborghini’s partner brands so that guests and fans could enjoy additional all-round luxury experiences.
The event was held at the Luftschiffhangar that, with its sustainable architecture, perfectly depicted Lamborghini’s sustainable vision.
