Lamborghini recorded another Italian GT Championship title last weekend, as Bonaldi Motorsport’s Miloš Pavlović and Michael Fischbaum came out on top in the GT Cup Pro-Am class.
It has been a near-perfect season for the pairing this year, scoring two race victories and a further two podium finishes across the Endurance Cup campaign. At the wheel of a Bonaldi Motorsport Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo Evo, Pavlović and Fischbaum won at Mugello and then again in the final round at Monza to end the season equal on points at the top of the standings with Rocco Mazzola (Ferrari).
The Bonaldi team, based in Bergamo north of Milan, achieved its first title success in Italian GT by dint of a sensational seventh place overall for Pavlović and Fischbaum in the final round at Monza.
Key to securing the title this season has been the perfect synergy between Fischbaum and the experienced Pavlović, a past champion of the one-make Lamborghini Super Trofeo championship, also with Bonaldi Motorsport.
