Color is our DNA. Since 1963, in fact, color has been one of Automobili Lamborghini’s most distinctive features, a strong bond that has evolved over the years by setting and riding trends, always focused on the possibility of customization and the multiplicity of offerings.

Throughout these sixty years, color has permeated Lamborghini’s history. Consider the pastel colors of the very early years, the Verde Scandal (green) of the Miura, the Oro Metallizzato (metallic gold) of the Espada, the Viola 30th (purple) of the Diablo SE 30, the first car to usher purple into the House of Sant’Agata, and on to the first matte colors that arrived with the Murciélago, the iridescent hues of the Aventador, Huracán and Urus that change depending on how they are struck by light reflections, and finally to the Arancio Apodis (orange) used for the unveiling of the Revuelto, the first super sports V12 plug-in hybrid HPEV (High Performance Electrified Vehicle).

All this has led to creation of a range of colors that now comprises 360 shades, 60 of which are divided into five families (Sportiva, Contemporanea, Eclettica, Classica and Tecnica), that make the company unique and its models immediately recognizable. The remaining 300 colors are part of the Ad Personam palette, an additional array that encompasses the most distinctive, unexpected and singular colors created using sophisticated technologies.

Centro Stile and Ad Personam therefore embody, evolve and perfect that bond, which is chronicled in this video by the voices of Carine Schweitzer, Senior Color and Trim Designer, and Alessandra Oliviero, Ad Personam Personalization Marketing Manager.
