The bond between Automobili Lamborghini and art remains strong, as demonstrated by the celebrations for the marque’s 60th anniversary, which have been stepped in artistic collaborations. The brand has recently presented “Lamborghini: 60 Years of Artistry in Motion,” a dedicated exhibition unveiled during the 2023 edition of Art Basel Miami Beach.
The exhibition showcases a series of artworks commissioned by Lamborghini dealers across the Americas to celebrate the brand’s 60th milestone. The centerpiece is the Revuelto “Opera Unica,” a one-off piece of the revolutionary HPEV envisioned by Centro Stile and created under the direction of the Lamborghini Ad Personam team. The livery features colors inspired by the 60th-anniversary silhouette, fading from Viola Pasifae to Nero Helene and presenting brushstroke details of warm and cool colors. The entire process took 76 hours of testing and 435 hours of execution, with an extra 220 hours for the elegant interior.
“We approached our 60th anniversary with an exciting challenge for our dealers to commission artwork honoring Lamborghini’s rich history,” said Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini. “In the context of Art Basel Miami Beach, design is also art. It is for this reason that we chose the occasion to unveil the Revuelto ‘Opera Unica.’ Celebrating the magnificence of the Revuelto’s technique and design, this ‘Opera Unica’ highlights automotive excellence from the inside out.”
The exhibition will be open to the public at The Gallery, 1330 18th Street, Miami Beach, from December 7th to the 9th, from 11 AM to 5 PM EST.
