Lamborghini SCV12, the track-only hypercar developed by Lamborghini Squadra Corse and designed by Lamborghini Centro Stile, has completed its development tests and is ready for its world première, scheduled for summer 2020.
The SCV12 is equipped with the most powerful naturally aspirated V12 ever developed by Lamborghini, capable of exceeding 830 CV. The V12’s power will be discharged to the ground by a new six-speed gearbox, derived from the one fitted on the Huracán Super Trofeo EVO combined with only rear-wheel drive.
It also features an exceptional power-to-weight ratio thanks to the new carbon fiber chassis.
The aerodynamics derive from Lamborghini Squadra Corse’s experience in GT racing and ensure an extraordinary level of efficiency. The result of the technical package is a car capable of offering the maximum agility and at the same time the maximum stability, as well as extreme driving pleasure even on the most demanding circuits.
Not homologated for road use, the SCV12 will be produced entirely in the Sant’Agata Bolognese factory in just a few dozen units. Customers will become member of a very exclusive club that will give them access to special driving programs for driving their own SCV12 on the world’s most prestigious circuits. Assistance will be guaranteed by the Squadra Corse engineers with the support of Emanuele Pirro, five-time winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans and an exceptional instructor for the customer-drivers.
