Automobili Lamborghini is making its official début at the 40th edition of Auto Moto d'Epoca. The Polo Storico is exhibiting two legends of Sant'Agata Bolognese: the very first Countach LP400 ever built and the incredible transformation of a Series 3 Espada under restoration.
The Polo Storico is responsible for preserving the past of the Sant’Agata Bolognese manufacturer and its cars through the management and study of the company archive, restoration and the certification of historic Lamborghinis.

The Countach LP400, usually exhibited at the Museum in Sant'Agata Bolognese, is the oldest in circulation with chassis number 1120001. This car has an intriguing history. Born red, it has undergone many stages of development. In September 1973, the Countach appeared to have disappeared, apparently replaced by a "Medium Green" LP400. The turning point in the Countach's history only came about in 2003, when the green LP400 from Switzerland returned to Sant'Agata Bolognese for restoration. During these restoration works, an extraordinary discovery was made. Under the green colour, the original red paint emerged.

The 1972 Espada 3 Series with chassis 8824 was the first four-seater Lamborghini, with a unique combination of speed and practicality. Currently undergoing restoration, this Espada is presented as a symbol of dedication to restoring automotive heritage.

The presence of Lamborghini at Auto Moto d'Epoca Bologna is a source of pride and underlines the role of the Polo Storico in preserving the history of the company and its iconic creations.
